A bold, sunshine-yellow blazer with oversized sleeves and a cinched waist. Light, structured, and just the right amount of dramatic.

Wears color when in doubt. Believes in overdressing just a little, always.
☀️ This Blazer Was a Wild Card — and I Loved It
The yellow jacket that’s a whole mood
I’ll be honest — this blazer was a bit out of my usual lane. I tend to live in neutrals (hello beige and off-white), and I rarely go for bold shapes. But something about this one just called to me — maybe the sunshine color, maybe the sleeves, or maybe I just wanted to try something a little out-there for once.
Spoiler: I’m so glad I did.
🌼 First Impressions
When it arrived, I was fully expecting it to feel stiff or costume-y. The photo on the site made it look kind of theatrical, and I was ready for it to be either a hit or a “meh, let’s never speak of this again” moment.
But pulling it out of the bag, the fabric surprised me — it’s structured, yes, but not cardboard-level. It has just enough hold to give shape to the sleeves and shoulders without feeling bulky. The yellow is softer in person — more lemon sorbet than neon — and the stitching actually looks quite clean.
The belt is the same fabric as the blazer and is fully removable, which I love, because it lets you control the silhouette a bit more.
💛 Fit & Shape
I got a size S and it fits true to size. If you want a really oversized look, you could size up, but for me the drama is already in the sleeves, so I liked the closer fit.
The sleeves are big — like, they billow. But they’re gathered just enough at the shoulder to avoid feeling clownish. I think the secret is that the cuffs are loose, so the whole thing moves with you instead of sitting stiffly.
The overall cut is long enough to wear as a mini blazer-dress (if you’re brave or have shorts underneath — which I totally did). I paired it here with a white satin skirt and a tiny shell bag, just for fun, and it felt like the kind of outfit that makes people smile at you in cafés.
🧺 Fabric & Care
The material isn’t heavy, which is perfect for spring/summer layering. It doesn’t wrinkle like pure cotton, and I didn’t need to iron it out of the bag — just hung it up for an hour and the folds relaxed.
I haven’t machine-washed it yet (I’m afraid of ruining the structure), but I did a spot clean on a tiny makeup smudge near the collar and it came right out with mild soap and a damp cloth. So far, so good.
💡 Styling Ideas
If you’re wondering how wearable something this bright and statement-y really is, here’s what I’ve tried so far:
With white trousers & sneakers: For a casual street look — felt crisp but easy.
Layered over a slip dress: Very cute and slightly retro, especially if the slip peeks out just below.
Open with denim shorts & a tank: This look surprised me — the blazer adds structure while keeping it playful.
Full monochrome yellow: I haven’t done this one yet, but I’m kind of planning it for an upcoming weekend trip.
This is not an “everyday neutral” kind of piece, but it’s the one that makes you feel like you put in effort — even if you didn’t.
🙈 Things to Know
Okay, real talk:
The sleeves can be a lot if you’re not used to volume. Maybe avoid on a windy day unless you want to turn into a kite.
There are no inner pockets — just a clean front. Not a huge deal, but something I noticed.
If you hate standing out, this might not be for you. People notice. In a good way (usually), but still.
I wore it to a rooftop thing with friends and got three compliments before I even made it to the drinks table. One girl literally said, “You look like fashion lemonade.” I’m taking that as a win.
✨ Final Thoughts
This yellow blazer isn’t practical. It’s not subtle. But it is fun — and sometimes that’s exactly what you need in your closet.
It made me feel bright, confident, and a little more playful than usual. I’ll keep it around for days when I need a mood boost or just want to wear something unexpected.
Let me know if you’re team puff-sleeve too — or if you’d style it differently. I love seeing how one bold piece fits into totally different wardrobes.
With love (and maybe a little lemon energy),
